Membership of New Zealand Chinese Association (Auckland Branch) Incorporated is open to persons who are of Chinese descent, a spouse of a Chinese person, or a child of a Chinese person and over eighteen years of age and resident in the Auckland area and agree to abide by the Rules of Membership.
BACKGROUND:
The New Zealand Chinese Association (NZCA) was incorporated in 1935 and we are the oldest national Chinese association in Aotearoa - rich in heritage and with strong and proud roots. There are 14 branches throughout New Zealand and it represents the interests of both long-established and new Chinese migrants. Our events include - Easter Tournaments (rotated at 4 major centres in NZ) , Youth Leadership Camp, Leadership & Development Conference. We hold local community dinners and have a Womens Group & Senior Lifestyle Group.
