The Waikato Branch of the New Zealand Chinese Association is holding its annual Big Fish Challenge Fishing contest again this year where a team from Waikato challenges a team from Auckland to catch the most snapper, the biggest snapper, the biggest kawahai, biggest Kingfish and the biggest other type of fish from the sea.
Now usually size doesn’t count in most things but in this case it is everything.
So come on guys and gals lets all break out our fishing gear, get organised and arrange a team of 10 each side to meet, have a good day out, socialise and prove that Auckland only won last time because Waikato just wanted to be good sports on the day and play host.
